Afterwork “5 a Side” Gets The Web App Treatment
July 13th, 2008 by Dominic Hodgson
Sheffield based Stuart Grimshaw has launched Whos-playing.com, an app developed to help you organise…. who’s playing…
I’ll post a bit of the press release bumf (and yes that is actually a word) so you can gather a bit more about the site.
Who’s Playing is a new service for people who organise after work,
social 5-a-side football games. It aims to take the slog out of
emailing a whole bunch of people, collating the responses and finally,
picking two sides that are equal, perhaps the hardest part of making
the game enjoyable for everyone.
The press release continues on to explain how the service works (He loses points because half way down he uses the american spelling of organise… tut tut tut)
The service at the moment is free but the intentional cost eventually is £10 a month (which apparently works out at 25p per person per week.
